Level, secure, and no cords dangling down the wall. We mount TVs on drywall, brick, and stone, over fireplaces, and on patios, and we can set up the soundbar or surround sound while we're there. Send us a photo of your wall and we'll tell you what it takes.
Mounted into the studs, not just the drywall, with a mount rated for your TV's weight.
Masonry anchors set into solid material, with cable routed as cleanly as the wall allows.
Including pull-down mounts that bring the screen down to eye level when you watch.
Full-motion arms that let a TV face the couch from a corner or swing toward the kitchen.
Covered porches and patios, with the outdoor speakers to go with it.
Fixed, tilt, full-motion, or pull-down fireplace mounts, chosen for how you watch.
There are two different kinds of wires behind a TV, and they're handled differently.
Low-voltage cables (HDMI, network, speaker wire) can run inside the wall through proper pass-through plates behind the TV and near the cabinet or console.
Power is different. The National Electrical Code doesn't permit an ordinary TV power cord to be run inside a wall. The code-appropriate options are an in-wall power kit rated for the purpose, or a recessed outlet behind the TV installed by a licensed electrician. Cutting a hole, stuffing the power cord in the wall, and calling it done is a common shortcut, and it's a fire-safety risk. We'll tell you which option your wall needs before we start.
It's a common question, and the honest answer is: it depends on two things.
A working fireplace can send a lot of heat up the wall. Check your TV manufacturer's guidance on operating temperature, feel the wall during a fire, and look at whether there's a mantel to deflect heat. Gas inserts and electric fireplaces usually behave differently from a wood-burning fireplace.
Most fireplaces put the center of the screen well above eye level from the couch, and looking up for a two-hour movie is hard on your neck. A tilt mount helps a little. A pull-down fireplace mount solves it: the TV sits flush above the mantel and pulls down to eye level when you watch.
If the fireplace wall is the only wall, we'll make it work. If there's a better wall, we'll tell you.
Pricing depends on the wall, the TV, and how far the wires have to go. Send a photo of your wall or call (434) 792-6717, and we'll give you a free estimate.

A new TV's built-in speakers rarely match its picture. Since the wall is already open, it's the easiest time to add a soundbar, run wire for surround speakers, or set up Sonos in the room. We're an authorized dealer for Samsung, LG, Sony, Sonos, and Denon.
If you're thinking bigger, see our home theater installation in Danville, VA. Our home theater cost guide puts a typical living-room upgrade (properly sized TV, real receiver and speakers, hidden wiring) at roughly $2,000–$8,000 in typical market terms.
We set the picture mode, connect and configure your sources, and get the audio right, not just hang the screen.
We program the remote and controls so everyone in the house can turn it on and find the game.
Low-voltage and power handled the right way, as described above.

A good handyman can hang a TV. We can also make it look, sound, and work the way it should.
No. You can supply your own TV and mount, or buy them from us. We'll check that your mount is rated for the TV's size and weight and suits the wall before we hang anything. Our lifetime labor warranty applies to work on gear purchased from us.
A straightforward mount goes quicker than a job with in-wall wire concealment, masonry, or a soundbar to set up. When you send a photo of the wall, we'll tell you what your job involves and how long to plan for.
Yes. Brick and stone need masonry anchors and the right drill, and the mount has to be secured into solid material, not loose veneer or crumbling mortar. Fireplace surrounds are a common case; see the section on mounting over a fireplace.
Sometimes. Exterior walls usually have insulation and sometimes fire blocking, which makes fishing cable harder, and occasionally a clean surface raceway painted to match the wall is the better answer. We'll look at the wall and tell you honestly which way to go.
