Music that fits the room, TVs for game day, and someone local to call when it quits. We design and install sound, TVs, patio speakers, and menu boards for restaurants and bars across Danville and Southside Virginia, scheduled around your opening date.
The short answer: a good restaurant system uses more speakers at lower volume, split into zones (dining room, bar, patio, private room) that staff can adjust separately, plus TVs placed for sightlines and audio that follows the game when it matters. Every room is different, so we start with a free walkthrough and give you a written quote. Call (434) 792-6717.
Danville's dining scene is growing. Caesars Virginia opened here in December 2024, and new independent spots keep opening downtown in the River District. If you're opening or renovating, we're on Old Riverside Drive, minutes away.
The most common mistake in restaurant sound is a few loud speakers in the corners. Tables near them get blasted, tables in the middle can't hear the music, and everyone talks louder to compensate. The fix is distributed ceiling speakers: more of them, spaced evenly, each playing quietly. The music is everywhere and loud nowhere, and your guests can hear each other.
Then make it staff-proof. Volume limits so a server can't turn the dining room into a club at 7 p.m., labeled controls per zone, and a source that starts the same way every morning. Training for your staff is included with every commercial install, along with simple reference guides.
Low, even background music with volume set for the lunch crowd and adjustable for dinner.
A little more energy, its own volume, and the option to switch to game audio without touching the dining room.
Outdoor-rated speakers built for Virginia summers and winters, aimed at your tables and not at the neighbors.
Its own source and volume, plus a microphone input for toasts, presentations, and rehearsal dinners.
TV placement starts with sightlines: from which seats can you see which screens, and what's in the way at a full bar. We mount at heights and angles that work from the stools and the booths, and hide the cables in the wall.
Then the sources. Cable and streaming boxes can be distributed so any TV can show any game, controlled from one spot behind the bar. For the big game, audio-follow-video lets the bar's speakers play the game everyone came for while the dining room keeps its music. We're an authorized dealer for Samsung and LG displays, and for QSC and Sonos audio.
Digital menu boards you can update in minutes, specials screens by the register, and promo displays that sell while you work. We handle the displays, mounting, concealed wiring, and setup, sized and placed so customers can actually read them. More on our commercial AV installation in Danville page.
This isn't legal advice, but it's worth knowing before you open. A personal Spotify or Apple Music account is licensed for personal use, not for playing music to customers in a business. Public performance of music in a restaurant or bar generally requires licenses from the performing rights organizations, such as ASCAP, BMI, SESAC, and GMR, or a business music service that includes licensing in its subscription. Check with each organization or your attorney for what applies to your business. We'll set up whichever source you choose.
Opening dates don't move for AV. We schedule installs before you open, or around your hours if you're already serving: early mornings, off days, or after close, so you don't lose a day of revenue. If walls and ceilings are still open, bring us in early; running cable before drywall costs less than fishing it after. Everything is tested before your next service.
Every room is different: a one-zone coffee shop and a three-zone bar and grill with a patio and a wall of TVs are very different projects. Walkthroughs are free, and you'll get a written quote with clear options, not a number pulled from a catalog. Financing is available through Synchrony, and we offer service plans for businesses that can't afford downtime. Call (434) 792-6717.
When the patio speakers die on a Friday night, the distance to your AV company matters. We're at 310 Old Riverside Drive, minutes from the River District.
Every system we supply and install carries a lifetime labor warranty. If something we put in needs attention, the labor is on us.
More than 2,500 installations across Southside Virginia. You talk to the people who built your system, not a support queue.
Yes. Most systems we set up can be controlled from a phone or tablet app, and we can also put simple wall controls in each zone so staff can change the volume without touching the rack. We set it up so the manager on duty can run it without calling anyone.
Often, yes. If the speakers you have are in good shape and suited to the room, we'll build around them. We'll tell you honestly which ones are worth keeping and which are holding the system back.
It depends on the number of zones, TVs, and cable runs, and whether walls and ceilings are open. We give you a clear timeline with the written quote and schedule around your hours: before opening day, early mornings, off days, or after close.
Yes, as long as the venue allows outside contractors. We'll coordinate with the property manager or general contractor on access hours and where cable can run.
